LensDen Unit
LensDen is a trial contact lens storage system, which addresses the issues of wasted space and a cluttered office appearance that many optometry offices have with current storage displays.
The Lens Den is modular, stackable, and can be mounted on a wall. Each drawer is removable, and cantilevers downward when fully extended for improved ergonomics. The drawer front holds a large label for clear labeling of the contacts within. Drawer side rails are also clearly labeled for astigmatism axes, etc.
Lens Dens comes assembled with the number of drawers necessary to hold a given set of contact lenses. Additional add-ons for customized storage (such as oblique axes of astigmatism) are also available. Lens Den is compatible with most lenses excluding B&L – we are working on a solution for storing B&L lenses. These include grid storage for toric and multifocal storage, and bin storage for spherical lenses. The revenue from a single contact lens exam should be comperable to the cost of a Lens Den in most situations.
